THE ARTIST
I am a self-taught autistic artist working in combinations of paint and analogue photography.
I possess a unique neurocognitive profile that forms the foundation of my aesthetic sensibility and visual language. Temporal processing deficits result in visual and auditory experiences that are more like hyperdetailed instants than orderly chronological sequences.

I have visual snow syndrome, a rare disorder caused by hyperconnectivity of neural networks that is characterised by internally generated visual static. For me, this snow is accompanied by flickering images, palinopsia (afterimages and comet tails on moving objects), and spontaneously generated lines and colour fields.

I live on Bundjalung Country in Northern New South Wales with my wife, fellow neurodivergent artist Maneesha Bahuguna, and our small dog.
